The programme features four composers: Manuel Zurria invited James Saunders, Howard Skempton and Laurence Crane to participate in the concert as performers, each with their instrumental skills.

Are they the PLUS ONE of the title? The added value? They will be interpreting their own compositions with the collaboration of Zurria himself. They will also perform music by Salvatore Sciarrino, a very successful composer. Matthew Shlomowitz has created a piece in wich the score develops on two equidistant and parallel levels, one contemplating sound and the other movement.

PLUS ONE explores the theme of the double but it also aims at retrieving the pleasure of making music among friends, in an almost domestic setting. The friends are the composers involved and each represents a
different aesthetic aspect.
